 Jamie

Sorry for the super late add. I thought I didn't have any pictures from yesterday but then I realized I did! I totally had my head dug into work from about 7 in the morning to about 11 at night. I actually had a good time working on everything but it was pretty intense. Probably not the best day to try two new recipes and roast a chicken. What was I thinking? The food took too long but we met it with good humour, having peanut butter toast and knowing we'd be eating well tomorrow, which is today, haha.

Shannon

The second set of boxes!  I was so happy these arrived yesterday, but after packing through the weekend and being a little silly about not taking breaks I was sadly not up to any packing yesterday.  I'll try to manage my energy better today and get started on these.  There is still a lot left to go.

Suzie

Yesterday was the last day of Auntie Laima and Uncle Meinhard's visit and did we ever finish the time together well with a giant feast. They brought the lobster claws, Uncle Meinhard got gourmet salads from Pete's Frootique and I cooked the steak. It was a wonderful time together that I will cherish always.

That is great you got more boxes! Energy management is so challenging. I know you can do this Shannon!

BTW, that big giant bowl is filled with lobsters claws and I ate that whole giant steak too. Craziness!

Moving is so hard - on our minds and our bodies! I think we are all energy-management challenged, hehe. I'm glad you had a chance to rest up. I have a sneaky suspicion more boxes are on the way. I'll be over to help pack this week too :)

Oh, Suzie, I can literally hear Auntie Laima saying, "How lovely!" Hey you should put that pick on the family blog too!

I'm so glad you had a good visit. That truly does sound like a magnificent feast!

Sounds like it was a crazy long day! Your dinner sounded delish, and I hope it's amazing tonight to enjoy! Now that's a long cook time :)
