Jamie

I had an amazing time last night speaking on a panel about Creativity, Passion & Entrepreneurship at Fresh Collective. The conversation was intriguing and inspiring and the women in the room really keen and focused on building something from their hearts. It meant a lot to me to be there.

Shannon

I've been just itching to finish a book and today I finished two! Huzzah! Both with a spooky vibe, one was a Supernatural Tie-In (thanks, Suzie!) and the other is the books that the Witcher games are based on (and I read for my First Page video). Both were entertaining reads!

Suzie

Two nights in a row I didn't sleep because of anxiety about being a TA even though I didn't think I was nervous about it. Even my stomach was upset. But I went, I did it and it wasn't perfect and I didn't care. I helped as much as I could. While I was there I found out there was a copy of a newsletter that I wrote an article for at the studio! I was asked by a friend there and I think she left a copy for me there so that was pretty cool. It was also nice that so many people were happy to see me again. It really is a special place and I'm glad I am a part of it. Although I would really like to be able to sleep now!

Hope the event went great Jamie, you look awesome!

Shannon, did you enjoy that Supernatural book? I was wondering if it was a fun read. BTW, I finally saw the season finale to episode 3! You said it was brutal and man, you were right. Dang...

Great picture Jamie! I'm so excited to hear that the event at Fresh Collective went well, you look so happy and the jacket you got totally rocks!

I'm so glad that you are getting back in the studio Suzie! I can totally understand being nervous about TA-ing, but now you've done it for the first time and that is amazing! And holy crap, that is so cool that an article you wrote got published in a newsletter! Is it available online anywhere?

I did end up enjoying the Supernatural book, they had lots of rituals and notes that have to do with stuff in the first few seasons but was I really loved was the background on the family as it was a way to get a sense of what they were like when they were growing up (I know we get that from flashbacks in the show, but it was cool to see it chronologically and little nods to episodes here and there).

Oh I had forgotten you'd never seen the S3 Finale. That one is petrifying. It's sooooo intense. You are way ahead of me now! I hope you enjoy Season 4. It has quite a different vibe to it.

The event was wonderful. I am so glad to be a part of Fresh Collective this year. The experience has been fab.

Suzie, I'm sorry to hear about the anxiety but yay you for working through it and going and helping anyway. You're a rock star! And wow, that article looks like one for the portfolio! Way to go! You really do never give up!

Oh good! I was hoping they would have that kind of thing in the book, maybe symbols and stuff like that. Interesting you got more background on the Winchesters.

Yes, wow, what an episode. I am kind of sad we made it to season 4 because that is when everything changes. I really enjoyed watching the early episodes again and we'll keep going for Reg's sake but for me, those were the best seasons before they go all Christian-mythology-like.

So happy to hear the event went great Jamie!
