Shannon

I had a bit of a restless day, feeling not quite up to unpacking (which I eventually caved at by shifting some boxes). Anyhow, which I was still disciplined enough not to moves stuff around, I spent some excess energy on making a cover for my current composition book. I really like how it turned out.

Suzie

Believe it or not, this is a magnolia tree! I don't see them very often but there are ones around here that are extremely deep pink and absolutely gorgeous. The cherry blossoms are fading away but magnolia trees are beginning to bloom everywhere.

The composition book looks so cool! Good job and shifting boxes is OK. Glad you got some rest time in there too Shannon.

What a beautiful tree Suzie! I can't believe things are already in bloom there. What a crazy year this has been weather wise. It must be nice to come back to the rhythm of the trees there :)

I love how your book turned out, Shannon. You know what's wild? I have that picture of Adele on my dreamboard!

Suzie, it's amazing that it's magnolia time in Vancouver! What a deep colour. I don't think I've ever seen one like that before!

I thought that was Adele!

I can't believe you are supposed to be getting an ice storm. Seriously, any time you want to escape, our doors are open. Everything is so pretty right now. It's true, never seen that deep pink magnolia tree anywhere else.
