Despite the blistering heat, Justin and I walked over to Home Depot yesterday to explore more options for the rental reno - countertops, sinks, faucets, oh, my! It's awesome to feel like this work is really starting!
Oh August in Toronto, so hot! I'm impressed you made the walk and wow, it's just like one of those HGTV shows, picking out details like sinks. That's awesome Jamie! It really is real now.
Thanks Jamie, I have to say, it's been BRUTAL!!! But I am finally starting to feel better today but holy cow, it's been a tough time. I heard Ontario is really getting smacked with the heat, I'm so sorry to hear that. Yes, that's right, you do normally take time off around now and I know you have been so busy getting ready for tomorrow.
Oh I just think it's so cool you're getting to do HGTV stuff with the reno. I know how much you love that stuff!
It's amazing that picking the practical stuff often can make something feel really real! It's amaizng that the reno is happening and it's at the stage, woohoo!! But boo to the heat, sheesh.

Suzie, I'm so sorry to hear that you're still under the weather. I hope that you're getting some rest.
August is so hot and humid. I forgot that is one of the reasons is so good for me to take some time off! Instead, I'm working on this week's seminar.
Seeing the beginning of the reno is very exciting. I'm only peripherally involved but I just love this kind of stuff; it's so creative!
