Jamie

Today was back to a regular day, though it feels so odd and different without Jinx. One of my friends, Megg, sent this beautiful sunny bouquet to send some love at this time. It absolutely brightened my day. I also, for the first time this year, got out for a run. It was good for me. I know that movement helps emotions move through you - though it's so easy to forget.

Shannon

After almost 3 years I finally completed my Star Trek: The Next Generation re-watch. It's been quite a journey and oddly the thing that stands out the most to me about it is how much life has changed since I started back in Fall 2012. So many significant things have happened, and to to think back to when I started and was watching and posting daily about ST:TNG feels so long ago. I really remember what it *felt* like back then. I did really enjoy the re-watch, and I'm very happy I got over my sticking point (which was about posting about each ep), and got to enjoy the rest of the series. I think it will always be one of my favourite series of all time, and it was fun to re-watch it and get to know each episode a little bit better.

Suzie

I was pretty off kilter Monday. We had to go in and return the sleep equipment and I'm pretty sure it's going to be inconclusive again and I'm so done. I thought I would try my new Yonanas machine and didn't realize there was assembly AND disassembly directions. I fought with the machine and had it kind of explode on camera. Great video but didn't help with me being grumpy. Plus, who likes crushed frozen bananas anyway? Guess I am still kind of grumpy. I don't want to do any more sleep studies. It screwed up my sleep so badly and I was doing so well. GRRR!!!!

Jamie, what a lovely gift! I wish I had thought of it and look, some of the colours of the flowers are like Jinx.

Shannon, that is a huge accomplishment! I know you have been working on that goal forever. I am glad you found a way to finish it and I celebrate that milestone with you.

What beautiful flowers Jamie! How thoughtful of Megg to send them along at this trying time. It's so strange for it to be so quiet without any cats.

I have never heard of a Yonanas machine, and had no idea people would want crushed frozen bananas. I'm sorry to hear both the machine and the sleep stuff were a bust, that is so challenging. Time to take a break! I hope you get back to sleeping right soon.

I think the idea behind Yonanas is that it is an ice cream replacement which is it not!!! LOL. And I have to go back to the sleep clinic for most tests because it was inconclusive. I could cry. I continue to have something to do every bloody day. Just gotta get through it.

Oh, man, Suzie, I'm sorry that both the sleep study and the Yonanas machine have been so frustrating. With the machine, I guess that's the reason for product testing - so that you can share with people what is frustrating and what is awesome. Sorry it contributed to the grumpies! And I sure hope that sleep study makes a big difference so that you can feel that all of this was worth it.

Wow, Shannon, that really has been an epic rewatch through a very powerful and challenging time. I still can't quite believe how many ways it feels like we are seeing the end of an era. I am hoping this next leg of the journey is going to be awesome.
