Jamie

After a rather rough night and very little sleep yesterday turned out to be quite a delight. The sky was blue, the wind was blowing and I had time to write and reflect as well as to connect with people I adore, like you guys for stART!

Shannon

I finally finished labelling my Tarot Flash Cards deck! The court cards were definitely the hardest to truncated their "quick" definitions. Oddly, and serendipitously, I had to buy a few post it's that were just slightly larger to finish the labelling process. They are now drying to get any / all excess glue to stop being sticky and will be ready to use soon!

Suzie

This house has been an eyesore in our old area of our hood since we lived there. I have no idea what they're doing to the house but hopefully it will be a positive change because it could not get much worse. I'm surprised it wasn't just torn down. I wonder if there is something symbolic about this? It was just so shocking to see, I had to take a photo. I returned all my library books and DVDs and now have very few distractions in my life. I hope this is a good thing.

What an awesome capturing of the wind (can you capture the wind?). It was a rough night but I'm glad it turned out to be an awesome day!

I have a hard time telling what that is Suzie. Is it a tarp covering something up? A house? I thought maybe a shed? I never notice stuff like that, in terms of from an aesthetics point of view. I just walk on by :)

Late add from me.

Oh I love the wind Jamie! And I loved hanging out with the two of you. That must be such a relief considering how warm it has been.

Shannon, what a project, OMG! The court cards are so hard. I almost always see them as people but they can be situations too of course so it can be confusing.

That is a photo of an entire house covered in a giant orange tarp. Reg thought it might be for asbestos but that place was so bad, who knows? I'm surprised they're not just knocking it over which is why Reg thinks it's contaminated.

Wow, that's good news that something is happening with that house, Suzie. I always feel encouraged and inspired when people take something from a horrible state into a good one. I hope that happens there.

And wow, what an amazing project, Shannon! It brings it into the level of art project too. I'm so sorry that I stepped on them last night while they were drying!
