Jamie

I'm so glad that this weekend there was a bit of a break in the action and Shannon and I were able to sit down and have some art play time! We're way behind in Life Book but we're just going to work through as we can and enjoy the process. I ended up liking making imaginary flowers quite a bit!

After 2 1/2 weeks, it's sad to see the Olympics come to a close but I had a lot of fun watching many of the events.  I think the Curling was again a big highlight, both the men's and women's teams did so well all throughout the Olympics and the final games were extraordinary.

Meet Ellie! This is Reg's brother's golden retriever puppy that we got to meet when we were visiting Reg's parents yesterday. She is so mellow, she might give Mr. Man a run for his money (or lack thereof) for world's most relaxed pet. :) She is a sweetheart.

Jamie, those are wild flowers!!! I love it and I am very behind on Life Book too.

Shannon, so sorry the Olympics are over, I know how much you enjoy them. Curling was definitely a highlight for many people this year.

OMG, Suzie, for a moment I thought you guys had gotten a puppy! What a sweetie. Seriously. I don't think I'd be able to stop cuddling her!

Shannon, I am so with you on the Olympics. It was really awesome to watch them - especially the curling. I'm not sure I'll ever forget that star-burst shot! I'm glad we got to share so much of that together.

And thanks about the flowers, Suzie. I had a great time making them. I think I'm going to stop thinking about Life Book by the weeks and instead think of it by the lessons. I can set whatever schedule works from me - and it doesn't have to be weekly.

There, I am officially no longer behind!

Oh I wish! And OMG, I would have totally come to the same conclusion Jamie, LOL. She is so sweet and relaxed. First puppy I have ever seen that would rather sleep than do anything else.

I have to say Reg giving me the Olympic updates in the morning and watching the highlights with breakfast has been awesome. I especially loved that we shared our sportsmanship with the world, I am so proud of that.

Yes, good idea about Life Book Jamie! I appreciate that approach very much. I have also allowed myself permission to just watch, enjoy and learn and do what I want, IF I want.

The imaginary flowers were so much fun Jamie, I love how yours turned out. I agree that just going with the next exercise at a time instead of feeling up to date vs behind feels so much better.

OMG what a cute dog Suzie, and a great picture - it totally feels like a portrait done at a studio! So nice to hear there are more mellow pets in the pet family!

Thanks Shannon, I was thrilled with how the puppy photo turned out too! :)
