Jamie

After not feeling well and sleeping most of the day away on Saturday, I woke up to my very favourite kind of summer day on Sunday - blue sky, sunshine, brisk wind and moderate temperature - heaven! So I asked Justin if he might like to walk down to the beach. I just wanted to feel the wind on my shoulders. I had completely forgotten that Shannon had found there was going to be an arts and crafts show! We just found ourselves right in the middle of jewellery, jams and art! It was lovely. We came home with some unbelievable flavoured honeys from Nova Scotia and two new wooden cutting boards!

Shannon

I've been in book overload these days, watching book videos on YouTube, seeking out SciFi/Fantasy/Weird fiction lists, and reading a lot! I've been a bit uninterested in Reading Challenges this year, but I came across a summer one for Summer Book Bingo! You try and get bingo by reading books that match the parameters in the boxes. I'm HOOKED! I love this idea. I found a random generator for cards, and have created 3 total and plan to do this over the summer (or year), and I might specifically slant it to SciFi/Fantasy/Weird because I haven't been able to figure out where to start there. Maybe it's with Bingo!

Suzie

I got out for a bit of a hike this weekend but I also took time to do a photoshoot of my jewelry. The sale is just a month away and I want to keep a record of everything I made. Energy is still pretty crappy but it's getting there. Also finished Grey's Anatomy which was heartbreaking because I will miss the characters sooooooooo much!

What a perfect day down by the beach Jamie! And cool you came home with kitchen treasures.

Oh I get it now Shannon, that's how it works. I love it, a reading game, that's awesome.

Bingo for Books is such a cool idea, Shannon! I hope you have a ton of fun with it!

It's amazing to see your work, Suzie. What a great idea to have a photo record of everything. It's a good way to remember the beautiful body of work you've created. I hope they'll put the final season of Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. I ended up watching the whole thing this year, except this last season. I was too behind to dive in. I hope you enjoyed it all, Suzie!

Thanks Jamie! It was fun to document. People today said that pottery stuff usually does well at the sales so fingers are crossed!

So there is one season left of Grey's Anatomy? I wasn't sure if #12 was the last one. I agree, hope Netflix puts it up ASAP. So hard to be out of the loop! I did, I loved it. Meant so much to watch a show about people so dedicated to their work. Funny, I use a scalpel when I work with clay sometimes and I often feel a connection now to the show when I do, LOL.

I'm glad you got to feel the wind on your shoulders...and came home with honey and cutting boards! Sounds like an awesome day at the beach Jamie :)

It's so cool you are keeping a record of all your jewelry Suzie! I can't believe the art sale is so soon. Glad to hear the energy is getting there, sounds like it's going in the right direction.

Yes, it's in just over a month and I can't make it to the next meeting because I have to see the specialist. Crummy timing but at least I am getting stuff ready and photographing it before they're gone for good.
