December 17, 2015

Jamie

It's been a really demanding time and I haven't been taking pictures at all. Hopefully as I ease into the season things will start to settle down. Yesterday I took some time for myself and also to be social! I had coffee with my journal at Futures and then went out for dinner and choir with a friend. It was a lovely way to spend the day.

Shannon

It's cookie time! I have been making this recipe for about 25 years now (aieeee!). I should do that kind of math anymore. Anyhow, little twist, this time I used the pizza cutter to make shapes, and it was pretty cool because I could maximize the dough from rolling it out to getting it in the oven. Still can learn stuff after all this time!

Suzie

Today kind of sucked. I had to cancel my first MeetUp meeting and had lots of stress and upset all day. At least I got my Star Wars Bossk Brownies post done.

It was so nice to come home to the smell of cookies baking, Shannon. Wow, you've been making those sugar cookies (and I've been enjoying eating those cookies) for a long time. That's so cool you found another tway to work with them!

I'm so sorry to hear that, Suzie. Was it your back that made you have to cancel? I truly hope thing settle down soon.

Sounds like you are easing into the seaosn already Jamie! I think it's awesome you got out to coffee with your journal and out to choir and dinner, what a day! Love this pic of Future's, looks like a moody time of day.

Wow those brownies look amazing Suzie. I'm so impressed. I've never been able to make brownies - from scratch or from box. Maybe Wookiiee Brownies are the way to go! I'm sorry to hear that you had to cancel the meet up. What happened? :(

I am glad you got a little time on your own and out doing some fun stuff with others too Jamie.

Shannon, wow, we have had those cookies a long time and interesting geometric take on them too. Pizza cutter Christmas cookies... Very cool.

These brownies were only good right out of the oven, then The Force weakens in them dramatically. Oh the place I wanted to have the meeting at treated me like crap on the phone and then said they don't do reservations. Did not have time to come up with a new place in time plus the couch for Dad to sleep on (it's a fold-out) ended up having to be delivered that day too.
