Jamie

I'm having fun kind of letting my bulletin board be a living journal, shifting this, changing that. Yesterday as I was placing the possible web structure, the sun all of a sudden came out and shone on it! That's got be a good sign! On top of that my guardian is shining a light on it too! (Btw, I noticed my guardian kind of reminds me of Kate Bush!)

I'm happy to say that now that I'm a few episodes in I'm enjoying the TV series Bitten.  It does strongly remind me of Mom, as she really loved the books, and I think she'd really have liked the series too.  It's also great to see a Canadian series that's so well done.

I still have not figured out how to make printable recipe blog pages but yesterday I did figure out how to share a recipe PDF via Google Docs and had people making these brownies yesterday as a result. Which was great. Then when Auntie Laima and I got together to do a big embroidery project, the machine had an error we could not figure out and the machine has to go to the shop. Cue headache morphing into a migraine. I was going to also work with my pressure cooker but knew better and walked away and lay down for most of the day. Big yay and huge BOO!!!

Wow, that's amazing people were baking alongside your recipe! That's awesome.

That sucks that the machine has to go into the shop - but thank goodness there is a shop!

Wow, you're going to brave a pressure cooker! I remember how nervous it always made Mom to use it - but use it she did. You can do it!

Gorgeous! How magical and image, shining light onto your projects and guardian and yes, she does look like Kate Bush, how cool is that?!

Yes, we are lucky to have a shop here but it's looking like the machine is just too twitchy to work with.

I jumped a few times as I got the pressure cooker going and yes, I remember how it scared Mom to use it but she DID use it! I can't wait to see how the beans turn out. :)

Oh I love the idea of a living journal Jamie, that's so cool! And you can look at it as much as you want - even better! I can totally see the Kate Bush-ness of your guardian, totally cool!

I didn't even know that there were printable recipe blog pages, Suzie! I'm glad you found a go-around for that. I'm so sorry to hear about the error in your machine, what a drag! I know you've been having so much fun with it I hope there is a way it can be fixed.

Late add from me.

Yay to Bitten-goodness Shannon! It reminds me of Mom so much too. I think you're right, I think she would like it.

Yes, people have a printer-friendly page for their recipes, I still haven't figure out how they do it so I came up with my own way doing PDFs.

I am pretty heartbroken about the machine. I am going to play around with it and see if I can troubleshoot it before taking it in.
