Jamie

I am feeling so inspired by the Document Your Life video series that I took many short videos when I was out to use as raw material for capturing my day. I'm trying to learn what your eye looks for in video as distinct from photography and also wondering what it is that captures my eye so fully, so far -  light, a certain kind of warmth to the colours. This is always where I wonder if there's something specific to the camera.

Suzie

My sleep has been totally screwed up and I am so exhausted all the time and resting that I did not get much done yesterday at all. I have lots of products to review so I did some foodie shots but that is about it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sleep, Suzie. I think this season is going to require lots of loving self-care.

I'll be so curious how those Nanaimo bars turn out!

Did that doggy have an owner?! Good video catch Jamie, perfect subject for your project and I can just hear some beautiful music playing that you would choose as I watched it.

Thanks Jamie. I got some Vitamin D drops and they are helping a lot. And on sale!

Me too. I wanted to make them yesterday but they're quite complicated. Next week!

Yep, the dog had someone close behind. I just happened to catch the frolic!

Oh, that's good news that the vitamin D really helps.

Looking forward to seeing how they turn out, Suzie!

Fascinating questions about video Jamie. There is so much in there, and I think a lot does have to do with the camera and getting familiar with it and how it works and what you like. It's amazing how many things we don't even realize we know about our preferences about digital cameras for photographs that we've gleaned over the years. I'll be very curious to hear how it shapes out.

Sounds like a busy time Suzie, it certainly feels like that time of year. I hope that you can get a chance to rest soon. And I hope that Nanimo Bar mix is easy and Yummy! Nanimo bars. nom.
