Jamie

A very busy day in the studio yesterday but I took some time to relax and stitch some love. I've been wanting to do this for over a year! It felt so good to sit down and experiment. I've loved cutting shapes and stitching since I was a girl and was delighted to discover it's just as much fun now!

Suzie

Yesterday I went to a PC Points Party at my Superstore to learn all about their new marketing program which I have totally signed up for. It's weird. I don't know if it's because I came alone, because I'm not a mommy blogger... No one but the people throwing the pitch would really talk to me. The best part? I don't really care anymore. I had fun on my own. I am not going to let the "not fit in" factor affect me anymore. I got along great with the two people running the event and they were from, ahem, Toronto. LOL.

It is gorgeous Jamie! And I can't wait to hear all about it on stART. I am glad that the happy memory of loving doing this craft applies to today too. Well done!

I SO know the experience you're describing, Suzie! And there is such peace in being in a place of, "Okay, no worries. I'm having fun on my own."
But boy, did they miss out not having a convo with you!

Thanks, Suzie. I just love doing this. I could be making felt hearts for days!

Thanks for confirming I am not the only one who has gone through this experience Jamie. I can't figure out if it's because many bloggers (myself included) don't have great social skills? Or introverts?

Yup, totally had a great time on my own and learned a lot. I was the only taking photos and notes. They were all on their phones, probably doing the same thing.

Yay to making felt hearts for days! :)

Yay Jamie! I think it's so awesome you stitched some love :) It looks so awesome and is such a delight to see it come to life after you've wanted to do it for so long.

I am glad you still had fun at the PC Points Party Suzie! It's hard to figure out the social dynamics at stuff like that at times, I'm never quite certain what it is either but sometimes just have to roll with it.
