Jamie

Sometimes on Sundays I like to stay in bed for a bit and read, maybe watch some art videos. Yesterday I ended up restless and wanting to get up but I had so much good cat company I stayed put! Escher is literally sitting on my feet and what you can't see is Shibumi curled up right beside me. Cats like lazy Sunday mornings!

Shannon

I was hoping to catch up on tons of art making this weekend, and although I didn't do as much as I planned I was able to work a few things in including these big paint chips for doing some collage. I was suprized that I didn't instantly know what colours I wanted to use but finally decided to go with these.

Suzie

It was a rough weekend but I had a few seconds to have a little fun in the kitchen and made my first cake in a mug to celebrate World Nutella Day.

WTG, Shannon. That is awesome. Your palette is so great. I can't wait to see where it takes you. You're inspiring me to work on designing my own palettes too!

Suzie, I loved your video. I left a comment on YouTube. That cake looks wonderfully decadent. I remember back in the day Carol would make us rice krispie squares or chocolate drop quickies as a quick snack in a mug. Who knew she was so ahead of her time!

What a look on, is it Scout then?, face! Hanging out with the cats on a Sunday morning sounds awesome Jamie.

I totally love those colours Shannon!

Thank you so much for watching and commenting Jamie. I thought that approach to baking seemed familiar. Wow, Carol really knew her stuff!

omg, so cute Jamie! Cats, cats...everywhere! That is so wonderful they keep you company on Sunday mornings. Maybe they want you to have a Caturday on Sunday!

That is so cool that there is World Nutella Day.. funny how it is also Super Bowl Sunday. I loved your video and am so impressed with that microwave cake. A little dangerous to know how easily it is to make. Did you make another mug right away? I bet I would have!

It is dangerous Shannon! No, I didn't actually finish the mug I made, I was going to share it with Reg but he came home a lot later than anticipated. Next will be a single cinnamon bun in a mug, LOL.
