Jamie

I am stretched a little thin this week but still enjoying all the amazing things that are happening. Yesterday started with an early morning workout and ended with my second photo shoot at Fresh Collective, this time out at their Roncesvalles store. I managed to come home with just one piece. I share it on today's BTS and I'm sure you'll see why I just couldn't resist! This hectic pace is going to continue through to next week. I'm just doing my best to make sure I get a good night's sleep (the kittens are NOT helping), eat well and show up to contribute and enjoy.

Shannon

I'm sure this picture comes as no surprize! The drawing today was a bit of a challenge, but at least it didn't take too long. I only have 1 more drawing to go, then it will time to decide if I'll include / share all of the drawings or an pick just some of them. So close!

Suzie

When I went to the market for supplies I saw that it had fresh herbs in stock and on sale! They were cheaper than buying a package of them for cooking so I brought some home. They don't even sell sage for cooking so I knew I had to take that one home for sure and the deal was for four plants for $10. I got sage, basil, thyme and put mint in a larger container hanging on our front porch. Now I can cook with them and make amulets! I usually have terrible luck with herbs but to have an east-facing window in the kitchen where they can keep me company feels so right. Totally makes me happy.

Shannon, I just love how your setup looks. The overhead shot is awesome and your "shiny sink" coffee table totally rocks. Can't wait to see what you decide to share.

The herbs are wonderful, Suzie. they look so at home there! And what a good deal. I have sage in my garden and every time I walk by I grab a piece and press it. That glorious smell is a treat in itself!

Wow Jamie, had no idea you would be doing several shoots, that's fantastic and so glad you found a treasure you like. I wonder why the kittens are up so early? Yes, get some rest if you can.

It's true, the setup is awesome and can't wait to see what you have been up to. Glad you're close to being done Shannon, that must feel like a relief.

Oh isn't sage wonderful? I just love it and want to make butternut squash ravioli with butter and garlic sage sauce and now I can. :)

Wow, busy times abound and more busy times ahead! How cool to visit the Roncesvalles store and do another photoshoot! I'm impressed you only came home with one thing, but after seeing it I can imagine how it would be THE thing! That's awesome Jamie!!

How wonderful to have fresh herbs Suzie! That is a great lot and wonderful flavours to play with, and to make amulets with! How wonderful. I think they look beautiful.

Monkey skirt!!!!

I think the kittens get up so early because they are ready to play. They have had all the sleep they need and they are ready to start the day! We're making some progress though. They aren't actually bugging us for food and they are starting to get that it's the alarm that indicates "Breakfast!"
