Shannon

This weekend I spent a lot of time puttering around the house, just tending to this and that of very regular day life-ness. Chopping up veggies, creating a spot for collage stuff and keeping space clear to work on art for the current series. It felt really, really nice and very relaxed. While I puttered I watched a bunch of the VC Andrews movies, which was the perfect not-super-need to pay attention vibe which was the perfect speed. It was great to have time to alternate being productive, and being relaxed.

Suzie

Reg and I went to the Value Village pre-sale on Sunday. We got him a bunch of high quality shoes that he can use on his movie shoots without breaking the bank. I got a ton of long sleeve shirts in 80s bright colours which will be too warm to wear in a month but are good for now. I'm really trying to add colour to my wardrobe. The rest of the weekend was kind of weird and the rest of today was finishing taxes.

Puttering weekends are awesome! We enjoy those a great deal. So curious about those VC Andrews movies. I wonder if I can get them at my library???

I love that bag Suzie! Was that from VV too? I wish I had made it out to the sale, I was even up there today but felt I would overbuy if I went! I think it's awesome you got bright colour shirts! It's so great to have VV there for giving a fashion infusion when you want to try something out.

The VC Andrews films are sooooo melodramatic and pretty bad, but they are a guilty pleasure. They are out on DVD so it's possible your library will have them. I hope they do!

Actually I bought that bag from my local market. I have one with strawberries on it too. It's so true. Minimal investment for experimenting with clothes, especially with the sale. I only spent $24 and got a ton of stuff.

Awesome to know about the VC Andrews films. I would just like to relive the stories without rereading the books. I'll look into it, thanks Shannon!
