Jamie

I decided to brave putting my entire series up at the studio. I even started to do a bit of research about creating prints. I think that would be so cool. It was nice to get something done because, honestly, I was feeling so exhausted that all I could do in the middle of the day was take a nap. I wonder if it's allergies.

Shannon

I was so excited to have my Superman T-Shirt arrive! It has this awesome retro pixalated style to it that I didn't notice when ordering it, but I love it! I got it as an incentive from Entertainment Weekly to renew my subscription, and approach that totally, and happily, worked on me. Now I have this one *and* a Super Friends T-Shirt.

Suzie

Wow. I was so busy yesterday, did not nap and was so tired and didn't sleep. Up from 4 am and on. This is getting crazy. Reg got up late and to be quiet and wake him I did a lot of crafting including painting the wooden cutout and glittering it up. I tried working on a shirt too but I was tired and a hurry and I am thinking that is not a good combo when you are working with puff paint. Wore my Walking Dead shirt today because that is kind of how I'm feeling... At least I am getting fun stuff done.

I love that T-shirt, Shannon! He almost looks made out of Lego. And you know what that means - everything is awesome!!

Oh, Suzie, I'm sorry to hear you're having so much trouble sleeping. Feeling so tired and being so busy is not a great match - and then to do careful work on top of it. I can understand why you stepped away from the puff paints ;) The frame looks wonderful. It will be an awesome home to your photo!

Jamie, that collection is so beautiful! I think finding a way to turn them into prints is a genius idea. Hope you find energy soon.

That's almost like a Minecraft Superman and I totally love it too. That would have worked on me big time Shannon.

Thanks Jamie. It seems to be a seasonal issue and I have no idea what to do about it. Turns out a lot of people at the studio are having the same problem! Thank you! At least I am getting some of the projects I am obsessing about at night done.

I think it's so awesome that you've shared your entire series on your site Jamie! I love being able to see your art! I think prints are defintely a good idea :)

It sounds like making stuff was calling you..even super early in the morning Suzie! And yes... painting isn't so good when super tired, at least acryliy types aren't very forgiving. I almost fell asleep on my sketch book the other day! We should talk about tired art sometime on stART, lol

Sounds like we all have napping as a possible activity these days, in one way or another.

Isn't it wild that the Superman is all pixel/minecrafty? I love it!

It's true, acrylics are forgiving! I have been enjoying playing with them. Well, falling asleep on your sketch book? I thought I was tired! Tired art, I like that. Yes, lovely the pixelated Superman, seriously cool Shannon.
