Jamie

I'm so glad I felt well enough for Journal Club and that my voice held out exactly long enough. I am so loving this hour together on Fridays!

Suzie

Was hoping for a day off today to do what I want but things change. I did get some time to try and make some of my own thyme oil that I want to use on a potential thyme amulet. First time I played with my air hardening clay at home. Had a lot of failures but some successes. Really trying to fit time in for Suzie stuff but back pain got me and I had to rest a lot of the afternoon.

Thyme oil for an amulet? That sounds super cool Suzie! Do you like glaze it with it? Or encase it? So wild! I'm glad to hear you got time to fit in some Suzie time!

I'm glad you got some you time too, Suzie. How did you find working with the air-hardening clay? How exciting you're exploring amulets!

Oh and I'm so curious what the magic of thyme oil is. :)

It really is amazing that your voice held on long enough for Journal Club Jamie and what an awesome photo!

I'm having second thoughts about amulet-making. I'm making this one just for me. I am not going to glaze it, I want the oil to penetrate it.

Air hardening clay is actually incredibly fragile which is a bummer. I tried making other charms and they just crumbled in my hands. You gotta make it chunky or forget about it.

Thyme can be used for awareness and sight but I am using it for courage. Etsy and Ebay don't allow you to sell magical items anymore so I wouldn't know what to do with them.

Awesome picture Jamie! It took me a second to understand it, lol. I've been loving journal club too! It's so fun to spend the time together :)
