Jamie

Things have been so exhausting lately that we decided to be a bit gentler in our Halloween celebrations and it turned out that was just exactly perfect. A good crockpot meal that didn't take too long to get sorted, "the mushrooms" from Shannon, a tidied up house with our favourite decorations about - and even some new friends and costume pieces - and fun movies to boot. It was a truly wonderful day.

Shannon

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! I had a great time chilling out with Jamie and Justin, watching movies and wearing fun Halloween hats, including this awesome Smurf hat. Smurfalicious!

Suzie

Halloween was rushed, stressful but awesome. The rain cleared up just enough for the trick or treaters to get their loot and we had at least +40 kids! The fireworks were insane and then the rain came back with a vengeance. It was crazy!

Cutest hat ever! Although it's hard to say because the monster hat is also so damn awesome. Looks like you have a fantastic Halloween and you inspired me. Late add from me.

Clearly hats were the thing! Suzie, you make an awesome witch. I can't believe you had so many kids - we had none! And, um, we bought a box of 90 small chocolate bars so.. um... yeah.

Shannon, you rocked the Smurf hat and gloves! What a great night. It was just exactly right.

The Mushrooms!!! Yummy! I think going gently this year for Halloween makes and OMG, so love those monsters!

We were shocked we had that many kids too. So sorry you didn't get any Jamie but yay for chocolate!

I love this picture Jamie! These zombie dolls are soooo cute, even if they are tired zombie boos! I am glad that a gentle Halloween worked out well this year, it was nice to get in the festive spirit in a new way :)

That's tons of kids Suzie! And I always forget you guys have fireworks over there, it feels like almost any holiday is call for fireworks out West eh? Sounds like it was a fun time despite the rush and in between all the rain.

HATS for the win! I almost wrote bats. I had a bat-like hat....
