Jamie

Despite a challenging morning and a long to-do list, I worked stayed devoted to the idea of getting down to the beach to do some writing. It was good to have that break away and to have some time to commune with the breeze and the trees. This beauty stopped me in my tracks. I went over and immersed myself in her rings. I wonder what stories that spiral tells. When I put my hand on her trunk there was a great sense of peace.

Shannon

Capsule wardrobe official has begun, and of course I have to have (at least) 1 T-shirt that is going to be tons of fun to wear. And that blue is likely officially my main colour, and it is almost the same colour as denim. OH my. I hope I don't end up too matchy-poo!

Suzie

I had this crazy craving to get a drum set on Friday. We had seen this one at London Drugs at Christmas and Reg really has been wanting me to drum for a while so we can jam together. I always said no because it would take up too much room. But this one is quite small and cute but sounds great and it was on sale. It was the last one in the store too. I carried it home which was stupid because I have hurt my back but Reg wanted to go later in the weekend and I said no. I want it now!!! He set it up for me though which was awesome. Only played a little so far but it sounds amazing and I can wear head phones and no one will hear but me. I can't believe I did this!

Shannon, I simply don't think think it's possible for you to be too matchy-poo, LOL! What an awesome t-shirt and great beginning to your capsule wardrobe. It sounds like you have a very good sense of where you're headed with that. I can't wait to see and hear more!

Wow, Suzie, what determination! That's amazing that you got what you wanted when you wanted it! And probably a good thing too, since it was the last one. I hope you have a blast making a whole bunch of noise. I bet it's even better than the red bowl!!

Jamie, that tree is gorgeous and what a moment you had with it! Did you enjoy writing down at the Beaches?

I agree with Jamie, you to matchy-poo?! Not possible! You totally inspired me to go out today and try to figure out what I needed Shannon and I love that your time capsule started with an Underderog t-shirt.

Thanks Jamie! I still can't believe I did it. It felt like a quest or something. Sadly I have been too exhausted to give them a go yet but I will. Who knew I would come full circle to the red bowl?!

Wow, sounds like a really powerful day Jamie. I think it's awesome that you stayed dedicated to getting down to the beach, perhaps this tree was calling you?

WOw ....a drum set! That is such exciting news Suzie. I see Iggy came out to play as you wanted it now, Now, NOW! It's cool that you and Reg can jam together. I hope it's a total blast :)

I'm glad I don't appear matchy-poo! I guess I can quell that worry, hehehe.
