Jamie

I'm sick but at least I have good company. All of the cats seem to love it when I spend the day resting and hanging out with them.

Shannon

Anytime I do this, I instantly think of The Great British Baking Show or Masterchef. Waiting, waiting, waiting and resisting to open the door unless you are sure it's time. Now, I was only making a frozen pizza... but still it feels pretty fun to pretend it is something more exciting!

Suzie

I went to a meeting at the studio to help with something and it ended up being a bit of a waste of my time. I keep trying to get some rest and then get interrupted which is very frustrating so I spent the afternoon working really hard on my Lemon-Infused Instant Pot Iced Tea post. Michelle has been teaching me a lot about Lightroom and how it can improve photos and it's wonderful. I love it when you can tweak it so the image is how you remembered it, accurately, and not how the camera captured it. I am not into special effects at all but trying to totally recapture how I saw everything as I was taking the photos and in this case, making incredible iced tea.

Shannon, I thought of The Great British Baking Show immediately. Hehe, what a great image!

Suzie, that looks amazing - both as a photograph and as iced tea! I'm going to check out your post. I've been very curious about Lightroom but a little intimidated. You're inspiring me to try it out!

Yes, good company indeed Jamie!!! I am glad you had the kitties around while you rested.

Shannon, TOTALLY out of TGBBS!!!! I just finished the latest episode so that was on my brain big time and so cool you could relate to the contestants. What a great show.

Hey, frozen pizza is tricky! You want to make sure it doesn't over bake or have a "soggy bottom," LOL.

Thank you! I am glad the editing shows, man, it's a lot of work but worth it. Michelle has been working with Lightroom for like 10 years and knows everything. I just follow her lead and remember how she normally edits things and it's shocking the difference. I keep thinking it makes zero difference but I am so wrong.

That's wonderful that the cats keep you company when it is time for a rest day/sick day. Shibumi looks totally dreamy here, amazing how much she relaxes her body into the blankie. I hope you are feeling better Jamie.

Oh my goodness, Suzie - you make the best use from your Instant Pot! I would never think that you could make something like Iced T in an Instant Pot. The photo is lovely, and how wonderful that you can tweak stuff in the program to have it be how you saw it. I know that means so much to you, I'm glad it's working! Sorry that earlier in the day wasted your time, but it looks like ou made good use of the rest of the day.

Thankfully I timed the pizza right! Cooked through, stringy cheese and no soggy bottom!
