What a lovely day yesterday. It was a great balance between being productive, creating and relaxing - just the kind of day I love. I got some crappy tasks out of the way, some plants planted and some drawing done. Plus Shannon came over to watch some shows and we had a yummy dinner - jerk chicken, coleslaw and beans.

OMG I love that photo!!! Reg and I were brave enough to go to Italian Day on the Drive which is so infamous for being one of the craziest events in Vancouver. Some years it is absolute chaos because of the THOUSANDS of people who come out to walk down Commercial and just hang out. We could not stay long so only got halfway down the street before turning back. Reg had to work so there wasn't enough time for food or treats but it was fun to see so many people but it was just a tad claustrophobic, so many people crammed onto one street. At least we got out and did something on a lovely day in Vancouver.

Isn't that hat awesome? I just love it. I'm glad we went. It was crazy but very cool.
I remember that dinner! It was a delicious meal, Jamie and a wonderful night! It was cool to see all the new plants in the garden and watch some awesome shows together :)
Wow, sounds like Italian Day was quite the experience, Suzie! I saw some of the pics and it looked packed! That hat is so wild, ... talk about getting into the spirit of things! I'm sorry you didn't get any food though. Maybe next time.
