Jamie

Another week at choir and the chance to sing David Bowie again - beautiful! I can't wait until the audio is available. After the main event they sang a song they had done a few weeks ago and it was so beautiful I thought, "I never want to miss a night. Not one."

Okay so here is a bit of a reveal after yesterdays picture! I had so much fun with these exercises and especially loved drawing mountain goats (top) as well as muskoxs. There are so many cool Canadian animals out there, I feel like I could keep going and keep drawing them forever!

Still been mostly resting and watching The Killing on Netflix. It is set in Seattle but filmed here, you can tell by all the rain, LOL. It's a dark show and I have to skip some stuff but it's good and I can't really do much these days but watch TV.

Wow, Shannon those are AWESOME! So much personality and character comes out. You've really captured the essence of these animals!

I'm so glad you're resting, Suzie. It sounds like just what you need. Netflix is such a blessing when you need to just tuck in and gather your energy home.

How wonderful you could go back and revisit that song Jamie and yes, I can absolutely understand now wanting to miss a night there ever.

Shannon, I love those animals!!! Thank you so much for the reveal, I love seeing what you're up to. Now I'm thinking I should sign up for that class. I really need some structure to learn. Is it learning-based?

It's true Jamie, I don't know what I would do without Netflix, it has helped me so much.

I'm so glad to hear it was another great night at choir Jamie! You have been very dedicated to going and it's so great to know the things you never want to miss. I'll remind you of that on the snowy nights :)

I've heard that The Killing is a really good show, good to know you concur Suzie! I had no idea it was set in Seattle though. It's great to tuck into a series when you aren't feeling that great, and it's nice that there are so many to choose from on Netflix!

Thank you both so much for the kind words about the animals. I had so much fun doing the exercise I could literally do it again and again and again! Suzie, I'm not sure what you mean by learning-based, so I don't quite know how to answer the question! It's centred around the idea of creating a body of work, although we haven't tackled that yet. Thanks for sending the link Shannon. It's a little steep but a very good investment I am sure! Enjoy. :)
