Jamie

This was really the big deal of the weekend. What an amazing experience. You can catch quick glimpses of me here and there in the video. I'm wearing teal!

Shannon

The epicness of reading War and Peace is coming to a close. I have now finished all but the epilogues (not one, but two!), and in after that 100 pages I will be really finished! I can't quite believe it. I've really found it to be quite the reading experience to read something so long, and for so long. It took a while for the characters to stick, but once they did...wow. I feel like I really know them. It's going to be sad to let it go.

Oh Jamie, I can't believe it, what an experience! I'm so happy that you got to participate in that (I saw you at the beginning!) and you all sounded amazing. What a tribute to Bowie. I cried the whole performance.

Shannon, I can absolutely understand about being sad that War & Peace has come to a close. That is a long time to stay with characters.

I'm so sorry I have been absent. I've been very sick to my stomach for days and days. Just been on the couch trying not to lose my mind watching TV.

Suzie, I'm so sorry that you're feeling so poorly. I totally understand about not being present. I've been away a fair amount too. Let's all be compassionate with ourselves and enjoy our tea under the willow tree when we can :)

Shannon, this is such a big deal. I wonder what it's going to be like for you watching the mini series now!

Thank you, Suzie. It was an evening with many tears. For the first several runs of the song, I kept having to stop because I was choking up. I've written a piece about all the places it took me and i hope to share it in the newsletter this Sunday.

Yes, compassion is a good thing, I'm all for it, thank you. :)

Oh I bet you had to stop during the rehearsal and practice Jamie. I look forward to hearing more about it. Honestly, it was so wonderful.

Wow, Jamie, what an amazing experience. I think it's so awesome you went and it sounds like it was very powerful. I will have to watch it with you to find you!!

Totally understandable not to post while not feeling well Suzie. I hope the couch time is helping.

Finishing the book was huge! I wonder if I'll like the miniseries, haha!
