Jamie

It was an amazing day yesterday and so even though I was busy I took some time in the middle of the afternoon to get into the garden and plant some bulbs. I had a wonderful time and the most amazing thing happened. This little bird was chirping just over my head, over and over, and so, of course, I started talking to her. After we had talked for a while, her chirps changed into a beautiful song. I mean, it was entirely different from how she had been chatting before. It's like she thought I understood her and so she talked to me in her real language. It was absolutely magical. I wish I had caught that new song on video. Then again, maybe it was for the two of us. (PS I really should write kids stories!)

Shannon

It was a bit of an odd day. Late start and a little messy, just like my table. How did that happen??

Suzie

I am still waiting for that day I can just hangout at home and relax. Wednesday I went out to VV for some pants, stopped by the market for some food, made a pretty kick-butt blue cheese dressing for that stunning heirloom tomato and went to a meeting at the studio. Now I am binging on Vampire Diaries and feeling homesick.

Whoa,... those ingredients look like they would make anything taste awesome (although I'm still not eating tomatoes! hehe). I'm sorry to hear you are feeling homesick Suzie. I hope you are enjoying Vampire Diaries. The drama of Mystic Falls! Are they still having tons of social events ? I never saw a small down with that many festivals, dances, and fairs. Would be a fun place...save the pesky vampires!

I hear you on the messy Shannon! I've been dealing with that since I got home but looks like a lot of cool stuff going on there to me!

Actually, where I am with Vampire Diaries there aren't a lot of social events going on which is so weird, LOL. In fact, Mystic Falls is kind of where things aren't happening which feels weird. It's true, they did small town events the best. Only show to do it almost as well is Stars Hollow of course!

That does look and sound delicious, Suzie. I can't believe how busy you have been since you got back. Any luck with pants?

Oh, Shannon, I feel you! You should see my studio! Um... or no... you shouldn't! I hope the late start meant some good sleep. :)

Oh, and late add from me. Suzie, can you tell what kind of bird this is? It's quite hard to see, I'm afraid. I show a little video of it in Friday's BTS.

Oh I wish I knew what she was Jamie but she looks very grey in this photo and I don't know many grey birds. Morning doves are similar but they have more slender heads and are more tan coloured. What a lovely story though and yes, you could write kids books easily!

I bought some pants but they're very tight which is frustrating. I need to get some comfy looser ones too.

I'm no longer getting the notices of our updates again, anyone else having the same problem?
