The Y is for Yellow class is starting with A is for Animals. Our first assignment is to do some drawing exercises, including drawing with our non-dominant hand. This is my left-handed gorilla and I love him.
I'm having a lot of fun in the Y is for Yellow class that Carla is teaching this year, especially with looking up so many pictures of different animals as inspiration to draw. So much fun!!

I FINALLY got out of the house! I got to my sleep doc and had to get out to get my prescriptions filled. This is the back alley walk that I take all the time and the mountains were so beautiful, I just had to take a photo. Even though the last few weeks have been hell, I always turn to them for strength.

It's awesome to feel how much you're enjoying the class, Shannon! I love seeing your drawings. And lol, it got you using Pinterest too!
Suzie, what a great strength ally - the mountains. I'm sorry things have been so very hard. I hope that things will get easier soon.
That was with your left hand? Incredible! I don't know this class you two are taking but it sounds great. And yay for Shannon using Pinterest!
Thanks Jamie, I hope so too. The meds I just started seem to be helping with the nausea and I'm so grateful.
That is such an awesome gorilla Jamie! I love how open and expressive he is. I am loving this section on animals, I wonder what B will ...be!
Awesome picture Suzie, it must be so wonderful to be so near the mountains and to see their vastness. That is soooo cool. I am glad that you got out and are finding some strength through the challenging times.
And YES I finally am using Pinterest! Only took me like... 3 years? hahahaha.
Suzie, the class is Y is for Yellow. It's Carla Sonheim's new year-long class. Remember last year we did Year of the Spark? This is this year's offering. It is great!
Thanks Shannon, the mountains are so inspiring to me. I am glad you found a way to enjoy Pinterest!
So is the class based on the alphabet?
I would say inspired by. It's 26 lessons, and the first one was A. Second will be B. And so on.
