Jamie

Happy New Year! It looks like we all needed some time off for the holidays. I found myself tucked away from the online world, bringing my energy back home and getting ready for the year ahead. I was so glad to be able to spend my regular time with creating Vision Cards for the New Year. It's amazing how clear my focus areas have become over the years. I had such a good time hanging out with them for New Year's!

Shannon

I've traditionally liked to sum things up about the previous year before heading into the next, but this year I'm finding the transition period to be a bit more fluid and a little less restrictive. And I am really enjoying the more relaxed pace of that. The first thing I did was look at My Year in Books, and it was a really great reading year with lots of books read and lots of good learning along the way. I think I've settled into a good rhythm of both books I enjoy for enjoyments sake, and books that stretch my reading horizons. Both of these things are important to me, so I'm glad they are both happening.

Suzie

We had an epic five course dinner at Storm Crow Tavern for New Year's Eve and got to listen to harp music, a singer and flautist and eat turkey legs. It was amazing.

I'm so glad you got to do your vision cards Jamie! What a wonderful yearly tradition to have and how interesting that they have become clearer over the years. Very cool.

Wow, it is so great that this new pace is feeling good to you, Shannon. It seems so much more pleasurable! Yay to settling into a reading rhythm that feels good and stretches you too!

Suzie, I love that photo. It sounds like a really special time. May that amazingness infuse all of 2016!
