Jamie
Yesterday was a wildly busy day - and super productive too! I got my newsletter out, a post about the Full Wolf Moon, a meeting with interns, an appointment out and about, plus I just had to get this video ready that Shannon and I made about making arm warmers. I'm excited to say that it is now up.
I've been working on doing a 2014 books to read list, and went to upload some library books and noticed my Kobo looked like it never had before! I'm not sure why it had this image instead of a book I was reading as per normal, but it looked so peaceful I had to take a picture of it. Sorry it's rotated incorrectly - why they auto-do that sometimes I will never know!

I had the lowest energy day ever yesterday! Probably because it was the day after the mega grocery shop and there was zero sunlight but man, it was brutal. So, I would lie down, do a little project, lie down, do a little project… Literally! Working on my foodie jewellery items for my hobbit b-day on my blog which is coming up so it's a good thing I figured out a way to make some progress.

It does look wonderfully peaceful Shannon! Oh I know, I have to correct my photos all the time, so annoying but this is seriously cute.
I love the personality of the Kobos! It's nice to know it was having a little nap. It probably needs it before heading into a new year of reading with you!
Suzie, what a beautiful picture. Lie downs and little projects sound like a gentle and perfect way to spend the day. I hope you feel refreshed.
I totally LOVE the video! You two together rock and it was the perfect length and fun and Shannon, I am totally adding a thumb hole. Genius!
Yay to being productive Jamie, that always feels good. I think my lie down trick worked, feeling much better today and am getting some fun stuff done.
Wow that is an amazingly busy day Jamie! I love how the video turned out, and it was so much fun to do. I hope it will get many more people making their own awesome armwarmers :)
Sounds like you had a super busy day too Suzie! I'm glad you managed to keep taking breaks and also work on projects, that's a very hobbit way to do things too!
I so couldn't figure out how to correct this picture! It's not this rotation on my computer, and you used to be able to fix them in Images/Picasa on Google, but that just took me Google+ :(
Your enthusiasm really comes through the video and is high energy and fun to watch. I think a lot of dollar stores are going to be wondering why there is so many socks being sold right now.
Shannon, do you have Picassa on your computer directly? I use it now for editing and I'm pretty sure it rotates photos (although I do do that kind of editing in iPhoto).
Oh, I don't use Picasa on the computer - any editing I do is in Gimp. But when you choose 'Images' under your Google account it should take you to Picasa as an online version, or a file organizing system At least it used to, now it's not really working.
