I'm loving having Art Day on Sunday afternoon. We were able to wrap up the introductory exercise for Life Book and there was lots of learning along the way! One thing that was so crazy is that we'd literally picked up a card from Value Village that used exactly the same (and I mean exactly) colour scheme as I had chosen for this. Wild!
I'm surprized how long it's taken me to find me feet and get into the groove of things this year. One thing that might keep me on track was my Page-A-Day Origami calender which arrived recently. I was so happy to successfully made the first item which was a paper cup! The next day was a lot harder, but YAY for first successes. Paper cups for the win!

After getting the car home from the shop the battery died from the extreme cold. Then, it suddenly got warm, we had tons of rain and hurricane-forced winds! The sun came out on Sunday and a friend helped resurrect our car. We took it for a long drive and it almost felt like spring. I am so grateful all the snow is gone, even if it's just for a few days.

YAY for Art Day on Sunday! It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad we were able to finish the exercise for week 1. I really like how they ended up, and it was cool to do the process start to finish.
Sounds like you are having a whirlwind of weather out there Suzie, I'm so sorry the battery died but I"m glad it could be resurrected and you could enjoy the weekend drive.
Jamie, that is the coolest and wow, is that ever beautiful! :) Good job! I still have to do the fairy godmother.
Shannon, I love that you are doing origami, that is so you! Art and paper? And the cup looks perfect, well done!
Thanks Shannon, it was seriously stressful but having milder weather and friends to help made such a difference.
