Yesterday was such a beautiful day that we decided to get spontaneous (! Yes, us, spontaneous!) and went for a walk in High Park. It was just perfect and what a delight to stumble across this extraordinary moment! Of course we went camera crazy and one of the things that I just love is how many of the photos turned out looking like paintings. They're kind of inspiring me to paint! The joy of the day is certainly inspiring me to be spontaneous more often!

I feel like I'm starting to find my reading groove again, and I totally feel a sense of accomplishment when I finish reading a book which just happened with finishing up Someday, Someday Maybe by Lauren Graham (who played Lorelei on Gilmore Girls and is on Parenthood). I loved the book, it's about a woman who after school moves to New York and gives herself a 3-year deadline to 'make it' as a actor. I loved it. Loved it! Great read. *happy sigh*

It was a joy to go out to a Saturday matinee with Reg and see Once More With Feeling at the Atlantic Fringe Festival. Only $10 a ticket and a lot of people with a lot of heart who obviously LOVE Buffy. The guy who played Xander looked so much like him, it was crazy. We did also go see the movie The World's End but wow, it was so bad. The musical was definitely the highlight of the weekend for me.

That's so great you got out to see a Fringe play, Suzie - and even better that you enjoyed it! I miss doing stuff like that. Maybe next year :)

Jamie, how amazing, herons in High Park?! I had no idea. And way to go on being spontaneous. It is also so different when you decide to be spontaneous rather than have others want you to be. At least that is what I have found.

I've never heard of someone doing a Buffy play - that's totally fun Suzie and what a fun thing for you and Reg to do - woohoo!
