Jamie
I have been having a really special time lately. I have been learning to better understand his body language and he's been actually looking for attention. I often take a break and sit with him on the cedar chest at the bedroom window just to be close and for a few cuddles. Yesterday he actually stood and put his paw on my leg for a moment. I'm hoping this is a sign that eventually he'll sit on my lap! For now, it lets me know we are making progress.
It was so awesome to hang out together at stART! If was fun to break the giggle record :) Thank you both for listening as I am going through a bumpy period in my series, after we recorded I got back to the page which is a good thing. Not so good was what I did today took 4x as long as the others and way longer than I should have spent... but.. I did. Ah well! That's part of the experiementation, it doesn't always go as expected!
Suzie
Not sleeping really has screwed me up but I did have time to attach some earring posts to some rhinestones and a bail to the back of my air hardening clay thyme amulet pendant. Which I totally forgot to share at stART today! So awesome to see you both and laugh so much.

You totally inspired me Shannon. Here I am wanting to play with clay and not doing and you are working through something tough and doing it even though it is hard and taking longer than other approaches. You are amazing!
Awww, thanks Suzie! I am so glad that have found something that is like play and very fun for you. You totally deserve it! Today was rough, but I have things that feel fun too ! I should remember to work them into the mix when I am working through something challenging.
It's amazing how we end up creating so many things that we don't even have time to share them all! The amulet looks amazing Suzie! Did you press real thyme into iit?
It was so great to film stART together and yes, to totally break the on-air giggle record, LOL!
Shannon, yay you for really sticking with it and working through the challenges. I'm cheering you on. I can't wait to see how this experiment turns out!
Suzie, that amulet looks really cool. I was curious too about whether you pressed thyme into it. You have a lot of creative energy going on!
late add from me :)
Yes, I did press real thyme into it to get the impression.
What a stunning photo of Escher! He has come so far Jamie. I do hope that one day you can pick him up and have cuddles with him. :)
I'm so happy to hear you are making progress with Escher, Jamie! He really does seem to be softening by the good time together.
That is so cool that you pressed real thyme into the pendant Suzie!
