I am feeling super impatient with being sick but my head is so congested that there really is not very much that I can manage to do. Luckily, I have the kittens to keep me company. Look at Scout and Escher being all cute!
Early in the day I totally had a moment where my eye was drawn to red fluttering at the window, and when I raced over I saw it was a cardinal! It was so happy I caught a picture of it before it flew away. What a beauty!

Had an awesome time chatting with Shannon! Totally cheered me up. So did this massive salad I made for lunch (I appear to be incapable of making small salads). I had never used Mom's Caesar salad dressing on a tuna salad before and it was fantastic. I did have to lie down because of my migraine but thankfully it has finally dissolved.

There he is! A real cardinal on a cold Ontario day. Love it Shannon.
And I am so happy to be getting copies of the posts again, are you two getting them as well?
Wow, Shannon, that cardinal is striking! He really struck a pose for you there. What a treat! That tree is truly amazing :)
Suzie, I just love all that you've shared about the dressing. I bet it would be awesome on tune salad! I'm sorry to hear you had a migraine but glad Shannon cheered you up :)
Late add from me!
omg, I loooooooooooooooooove that picture Jamie! Scout and Escher are looking so cute. And so relaxed. I'm so sorry to hear you are so under the weather. I hope the rest will help you feel better soon.
It was nice to catch up yesterday Suzie! And wow, I never would have thought to make a Caesar pasta salad! I have a hard time making small salads too, hehe. Yuck to the migraine, I'm glad it subsided.
I always check the site, so not totally sure when/if emails started again.
Oh could they be cuter?! I don't think so! Well that must be lots of healing energy they're sharing with you. So cute. I hope you're feeling better soon.
When I only have a salad for lunch, I tend to add a little pasta to it to help my energy keep going for a bit plus... I just love pasta. It's been amazing to share Mom's recipe with everyone.
