It was so much fun to get out to the and see Jungle Book! It was so really good, both a touching story and also quite an amazing technical feat. I couldn't imagine that we'd ever get to the stage where talking animals would feel so real. Pretty amazing.

Laburnum always remind me of Mom. This weekend was quite quiet, spent at home working on a lot of foodie projects but I did get out for a walk and was surprised to see this little bush.

OK, now I want to see Jungle Book. I was hesitant at first. So glad you liked it Shannon!
Late add from me.
Wow that is a gorgeous bush! Look at that lushious colour. I don't eve know how to pronounce it, but it looks beautiful. I'm glad you got some foodie goodness done and also out for a walk. Sounds like a nice quiet weekend.
I didn't know you were hesitant about Jungle Book, I can't think of anything that I would caution against seeing it for. Was there something in particular you were concerned about?
I can't believe I didn't get a Jungle Book picture! And I forgot to pick up a Tribute too. Dang it. I'm glad you did though, Shannon, and I'm super glad we got to the movie. I just LOVED it. It's still in my heart.
Suzie, that is so beautiful. Wow, what a dramatic and compelling shrub!
Mom always pronounced it "Lie-burnum". I had the hardest time remember it at first. Normally it grows along other things and then drapes down. Very dramatic!
I'm not a huge fan of kids movies most of the time but if you both liked it, I might.
