Jamie

I had been really looking forward to getting out for the day, including getting a haircut. The weather did not cooperate. With rain and ice in the forecast for the entire day I decided to stay home and work instead. I'm sure even next week will be markedly different.

Shannon

The horrendous weather belayed my outside plans, but no shortage of things to do around here! I am getting down to the last stages of the boxes, with going through some one-the-edge-of-outdated tech, pretty stuff, and random clothes, sheets, bedding that's packed with anything oddly shaped. Getting closer to done every day!

Suzie

I can't believe I only have two clay classes left! We learn and do so much in a class, it is crazy. This week I got to do some surgery on my crappy lantern and also make this box. I decided to change the pattern's direction on the box's side from one side to the other. Very non-linear of me, which is not how I normally roll. Also had D&D. Thursday are fun but freaking exhausting!

I'm so curious as to what you consider "pretty" Shannon! I saw that you had your fan in a pretty box. What does that mean?

So sorry to hear about that crazy weather. I hope everything thaws soon and spring officially arrives.

Wow, that clay class is going quickly... they really are right when they say time flies when you are having fun! The box looks amazing, I love the pattern. You have done so much! It's so impressive :)

The pretty boxes have been interesting, a lot for knick knacks, glass stuff, vases, they are often with other things too to fill them all up, like the fan! I never quite know what will will be in the boxes when I open them, there have been lots of surprizes.

Fascinating that both of you posted "pretty boxes" hehe!

Shannon, every time I come over it feels more and more like your home. It's beautiful to see.

Suzie, that pattern is wonderful. Here's to following where inspiration leads! It's so great that you are loving that class so much. I wonder what next term will bring!

Oh wow, that is a great picture of the craziness of the ice and snow that came out of nowhere! I'm sorry you had to change your plans Jamie, I'm all too familiar with how that feels.

I'm so glad the new place is starting to feel like home! It feels like what way to me too :)
