Jamie

Yesterday all sorts of to-dos converged and it became really clear that I simply have too many big projects on the go. I was feeling pretty fuzzy and thought I'd pull out the cards for some guidance. That Heirophant and Hermit are telling me to start focusing on writing my book already!

Shannon

It's a new month, and that means it's time to dive into a new book for the Book to Film Challenge. For March I chose Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy, and the trailers for the movie are already out and I'm trying to avoid them! The film comes out in early May so this is a tighter turnaround than some of my other picks this year. I was very relieved that when I started this today, that I actually understood it. When I first tried it about a year ago I had no clue what what going on, and because of that I actively worked towards upping my game on reading including starting the Those Books Exploration. I'm also getting lots of new words to look up. Almost 10 a chapter, and ..ah... they are really short chapters. Countenance, indecorous, connivance and ensconced...you will be defined!

Suzie

I was only out for a little bit on Tuesday. I finally slept after brutal insomnia for a week! Went out to get errands done with Reg and was so excited to see that Starbucks had launched their new bakery section. Totally by accident. I love it. I just feel so much more connected to the real foodie world here.

Wow, that's impressive, Shannon! What a great affirmation of the effort you've made. And wow, great words!!

Oh, Suzie, I'm so glad that you've finally been able to sleep. That's great news. And with bakery treats besides - sweet!! Here's to being connected to the real foodie world.

I guess it's time for book-writing Jamie!!! How exciting? And big projects are great except when the pile up. So glad you spent time with your cards and they provided you with such guidance.

Shannon, that is a huge difference, isn't it? And wow, what a wordy man. You are making such strides, way to go.

Sadly, insomnia struck once again (sigh, Reg's allergy season is here) but yay to pastries and being out and about.

That is so awesome that the cards provided guidance Jamie! It's so great when that happens.

What an exciting accidental occurance Suzie! And... warmed crossiants. That sounds awesomely delightful!

I still have to define those wordy words,... but at least I feel like I understand what is going on and that's good enough for me!
