Jamie

Yesterday we were able to start giving Jinx some pain medication to help her feel more comfortable in her creaky body. Shannon and I were making tea and chatting about how much better she seemed to be doing. She was alert, walking around, interested. And right before our eyes she started to have a kind of seizure - tremors in her head, walking around in a circle. It was so frightening. And then it passed, she went over and ate her dinner and then sat in her favourite spot, grooming!I'm delighted to say she seems to be okay this morning but I'm also conscious of appreciating the time that we have.

Shannon

Although I've been ordering this same option for dinner for years, this is the first time I got it with the number written on it.

Suzie

What a day! Two home showings four hours apart so we were real gypsies on Friday and I decided that I was going to crochet at Starbucks. I'm working on my blue bird for the Woodland Creatures crochet class I signed up for and guess what? I am much better at crocheting in the afternoon when mostly conscious than at night when I can barely see straight, LOL. Go figure. Also, got AMAZING feedback from people about our house which was very healing. And the second group ate all my cookies and left a note saying "yummy" and "thank you". And we had a rainbow over our hood on the drive home. A much, much better day...

Oh that is so frightening Jamie! And disturbing. Poor Jinx. I wish I could give her a cuddle right now.

It was so scary Jamie, lil Jinx just so discombobulated. I can't quite resolve it either, so sad to see her like that but amazing that very soon after she was acting normal. Well, normal for Jinx :)

So exciting to hear about all the viewings Suzie! And the positive feedback, that is so nice to hear and a really good sign. So fascinating that crocheting earlier is more easy and makes a lot of sense! I've been knitting at night and some days when I'm tired I just can't even do it.

Late add from me.

Poor Jinx. It really was frightening. Thanks so much for all of the support. So far she's doing better, and that's really all we can hope for.

That's wild about the number, Shannon! I wonder if they have a new chef? Though I totally can't imagine it. Maybe they just got a new pen!

What a revelation, Suzie! Of course it makes total sense that afternoon time would be better. Interesting! How are you enjoying making the Woodland Creatures. They looked so cute!

How nice that people left you a note for the cookies! I hope it inspires them to also make an offer :)

I am glad to hear Jinx is doing a bit better. :)

Shannon, that's an awesome image and realization.

Yes, crocheting is easier to just throw in a bag and go than being in the middle of baking or cooking something. Good to know I am not the only one who finds needlework more challenging at night, LOL.
