For the past few days I have been tucked into numbers, calculations and record-keeping. Yep, for me it's tax time (As a small business owner, I do mine for a June deadline). It's a lot of data entry and so I had some entertainment playing in the background. I've been watching oodles of Party of Five on Netflix. It is unbelievable how it brings me right to a certain point in our lives and our family.
Dinner prep for Taco Soup! I haven't made this one in ages (and parsnips aren't in the original recipe), but I love this one and it was fun to bring it back to the roster. And it has lots of vegetable goodness, which is always nice for summer.

We did not have a home showing yesterday so I was busy taking photos for my post on stovetop percolators and iced coffees. I am trying to get more creative with my images and found doing this a lot of fun. BTW, having a milk frother rocks!!!

Suzie, I'm glad you're having some time for your creativity. Your photo looks awesome! I'll be sure to check out how you use your frother!
And a bunch of late adds for me as I started catching up! I just can't believe how busy it's been.
Hey, I commented here, what the heck?
OK, I said before that boo to taxes but yay to Party of 5. It really does take me back too and some of the family stuff is a lot like our family.
Thank you! I worked hard on that photo and I can't live without a frother now, LOL.
Way to go on working on your taxes Jamie, woohoo! I'm really curious to watch Party of 5, I think I might check it out the next time I'm feeling drama-y.
Ohh...milk frother! That sounds awesome Suzie, what a cool edition to your kitchen! Especially from frothy cool drinks in the summer!
first of the late adds post-internet out time.
Taco soup? I love the sound of that dish! Yay for veggies!
