Well I've decided on the name of my reading...challenge, project, experience ..what have you so it really is going to happen. I've even recorded my intro for it and will have it up soon. Very exciting to start a new endeavour! Here is hoping it doesn't totally take over things.
Suzie
Yesterday I had the craziest urge to go to my thrift store. I wrote about it here. I fought it. Told myself I was too tired and then all of a sudden, found myself going there. I found these two huge treasures. I have really been wanting to buy a stovetop coffee percolator the way grandma and granddad had. It makes the house smell so good and I keep thinking it would be almost like aromatherapy for me and for selling the house. There it was! And I still can't believe I got this vintage Le Creuset from France cast iron Dutch oven for $5!!! Best treasure I have come across yet. I really feel like Mom was there telling me to go. It was quite amazing.

Holy smokes Suzie those are some amazing finds! I love them both, especially the bright dutch oven (I'm sure that is no surprize, lol). I totally had a urge to go to the local thrift store today too - I wish I had brought my camera to share some of the awesomeness I found!
I can't wait to check out your video Shannon and the card is perfect! I know, taking on a project can be a big deal and hoping it doesn't morph into something big is something I can relate to.
I had crazy luck at the store, I still can't believe it. Yay, so glad you like that bright chartreuse/kiwi colour! As soon as I saw the colour I thought, Paris. Did you find anything fun at the thrift store?
I can totally smell Grandma and Grandad's house right now! What a treasure, Suzie. And omg, a real Le Crueset for that price. That's crazy awesome! Clearly your instincts were right when they drew you to the store!
Shannon, I loved your intro video. This is an amazing project and clearly it's got you engaged!
I did find something fun at the thrift store and will share very soon!
Thank you both so much for all your support on my Those Books non-project/project/adventure. I really am looking forward to it in a non-pressure enjoy-the-experience way :)
