Jamie
So... little stare down with the raccoon next door! She waltzed out into the neighbour's yard in the middle of the morning and stopped the minute she saw me. It didn't take me long to see what was up - little racoons poking their head out of the neighbour's shed! I think that has become a favourite nesting ground.
May has been a big reading (not just listing!) month for me, and I just finished Will Grayson, Will Grayson before it poofed! back to the library. I found this one a bit odd, and structurally it feels more like an exercise than a book but I stuck will it and eventually loved (most) of it. Reading! Fun!

Reg and I went downtown yesterday to do some errands and I just had to take a photo of this fabulous mannequin! We are getting so much closer to getting the house ready. Finally!

I'm glad you ended up liking the book, Shannon! Are these colour book shots from the library? You are so inspiring me to get more reading in!
What a delight in green that mannequin is, Suzie! It's so amazing you guys have made such progress. Way to go!
Oh look at the cute racoon! Sounds like you're right and that they're nesting there Jamie.
Shannon, that book sounds fascinating and mysterious!
Isn't that mannequin wild?
Wow, raccoons in plain sight in the morning! I bet that was unexpected, for both of you. I wonder if the neighbours know they are there!
That is one well dressed mannequin Suzie, I love the hat - she really pulls it off :)
The book was wild, although I thought it was scifi from the cover (and it *really* isn't). I took a picture from either the library site or GoodReads - it's what the treebook looks like and is way more interesting than the eBook cover.
