Jamie
So that I could take the long weekend, I made an early start on the newsletter. This week I wrote about being vulnerable and so just had to share this book by Brene Brown, who speaks to the power and importance of vulnerability so well.
It was great to get out and journal a bit, I really want to get back to this as a very regular habit. The nanimo bar ...well, that should done with less regularity! I think I'm still on a sugar high from it!

It was a crazy-cold walk all the way to my thrift store but I did it! :) I only found one shirt but got a couple of house ware items I'm excited about. Took myself out for a bite too. I was exhausted when I got home, maybe pushed it too far, but it was worth it.

Yay Shannon! Looks like we are both getting out and about, spring must be here. And man, I want a bite of that Nanaimo bar.
Looks like getting out was the theme!
Journal dates are such a good idea, Shannon. And omg, that nanaimo bar makes it even more tempting to get out!
Suzie, it sounds like you got some good finds. And lol, I love that tent! You should pitch that in the middle of your craftsroom and have a playdate ;)
Very late add from me.
Isn't that tent adorable? OMG, I love the idea of a playdate in a tent for crafting, LOL.
I have joined the long list of people who want to read this book Jamie. I loved your latest newsletter and its focus on vulnerability. That's where true courage lies. And yay to work ahead so you can take Friday off.
Man, I so remembering commenting on this! I wish we all could have shared the Nanimo bar! I was TOTALLY WIRED after eating it all, heheheh.
I feel like Daring Greatly is one of those big "to read" books. Brene Brown was so inspiring when we saw her at WDS, and it's such an interesting topic. Way to go Jamie for getting a kick start to the weekend :)
Suzie, I'm glad you got out and about too, and that's quite a tent there at the store! I hope you have since recovered from the outing!
