Jamie
Call me crazy but I've started a new blog. I really needed a place to get messy, to gather, to pull together ideas, a relaxed behind-the-scenes exploration place. I can't believe how important blogging has become as a structure in my life, a way to organize my experience and my thoughts. I hope this will be a very alive exploration that will nourish me and my blog at Jamie Ridler Studios.

I just realized I forgot to share my Cold Moon Dreamboard! I did it a bit late, but I think it was still in that 3-Day Moon Cycle so I'm hoping it counts. I went with a smaller format which is unusual for me but just seemed to fit for this time around.
We dashed out in the great cold -24C windchill to get groceries yesterday and I was captivated by this lone lobster. I told him not to worry, he was safe with me. Reg said it was the saddest thing he had seen all day. What they did not know is I am determined to cook one lobster before I leave Nova Scotia but I am going to leave this little guy alone.

Oh, I just love your dreamboard, Shannon. It's rather unusual for you in colour too - look at all that winter white. I love the girl on the top right, looking like she's going to step right off the board into something wonderful.
May all of your dreams come true.
I think it's awesome you created a new blog Jamie, a new messy creative space - what a lovely start to the new year!
I really like this dreamboard too, and it is quite unusual for me. the people walking in all different directions was the pic I started with and I totally feel that sense of many different directions. And I totally wonder where that girl is going! who knows? :) Maybe by the end of the year - I will know! Tee hee.
I am totally betting you will!
It's true! Lots of black and white, grey with that warmth to it. Also how you cut out the images and made them fit, very cool Shannon.
I love that you have a new blog Jamie! It is awesome. So very clear and clean and cool too. BTW, I had to try five times to fill out the verification code because I have a hard time reading them. Didn't know if you wanted it there or not, all new blogs seem to default to having it.
Late update from me! I got all medicated early this morning to finally get some sleep, thank goodness.
Awww, lonely little lobster! Totally looks backed into a corner for sure. I wonder what the lobster-rush was... New Years?
Lobster prices are at "rock bottom" (hehe) prices right now and a lot of people indulge during the holidays.
Whoa, poor little lobster. I'm glad you guys left him alone. What a sad picture.
Thanks for letting me know about the Word Verification. I turned it off.
I'm so excited about the new blog. My creative brain really, really needed it.
