It was a full day of getting to the gym, podcast prep and working with clients. I also had some errands to run and since I was going to be downtown, I took the opportunity to spend an hour in a coffee shop journaling. What a treat!
After getting some errands and out and abouting in, I definitely needed some rest time. And oh my, the tree outside is all green now. I'm so used to it just being branches!

Another night without sleep so I carefully went out for a walk and tried not to do too much because I could get really hurt. I picked up some food and got to see the little pink dogwood orchard is in bloom! There are only three trees but it is so rare to see pink dogwood, normally the blooms are white. It is the tree of BC. I did have to lie down but I managed to make a custard for a Chocolate Malted Milk Ice Cream. Can't wait to churn it tomorrow!!!

Sounds like you two had totally opposite days! Jamie, glad you manage to get some coffee and journalling time in and Shannon, glad you got some rest. Yes, the trees do change, don't they?
Looks like a bit of a calm within the business for all of us. And trees!!
I'm glad you got out to a coffee shop Jamie! It's always nice to work in some journal time on a day with errands and such.
Wow, that is a beautiful photo, Suzie. I didn't know that dog wood was the tree of BC (I wonder what Ontario's is). Good to hear that you got a lie down in there and were careful while out. I can't wait to hear how the ice cream turns out!!
The Eastern White Pine is the tree of Ontario Shannon! And I hope to churn the ice cream today, fingers crossed.
