Jamie

I just love this bunny puppet that I got at the yard sale. It's so funny that I found him just as I'd been talking about following the Inspiration Rabbit or the Procrastination Bunny! Yesterday he spent the day sitting atop my microphone and keeping me company. It looks like I have a new addition to the Studio menagerie!

Shannon

It was soooooo nice to get out after being stuck at home for days. I popped into Value Village, and picked up some kids books because I want to try doing some collage and/or journaling in them. Of course, they are all so quite I might have trouble doing that! I'm keeping The Hedgehog and The Hare though, that one I picked up for the story :)

Suzie

Had a meeting about the art sale and got to pick up some pieces that I thought had been lost for good but were waiting for me. A crow plate and this floral bracelet. Helped out with some cleaning of the studio too. Another meeting tomorrow! Busy week.

I see a lot of whimsy going on here! And what an adorable bunny puppet Jamie! It is the perfect addition to your studio journey.

I'm so curious, who is the Procrastination Bunny? Someone who jumps from idea to idea?

Shannon, yes! So glad you are keeping The Hedgehog and the Hair and what a cool idea to use kids books that way. Fascinating!

Oh my goodness, it's like we got a mental note on cuteness today with all our posts being cute creatures!!

That bunny is just the sweetest Jamie, so tender and wonderful. I'm glad it found a way home with you from the yard sale to a Studio Menagerie :)

I'm so glad to hear you were able to recover some pieces that were thought to be stolen Suzie, are they are so wonderful. I love the raven plate, the work you are doing is amazing!

Thanks Suzie! I thought going the kids book route would be good because they are pretty reasonable priced (and books are buy 4 get 1 free at VV), and also they don't have too many pages which means it can be a smaller (aka less exhausting) project.

Thank you Shannon! I'm pretty excited about how things are turning out at the studio.

Good to know the kids books can be so cheap, that's awesome! Oh I also like the idea of smaller projects, that sounds good to me too.

I'm so excited you are enjoying the studio, that is such awesome news Suzie!

Yep, kids books are pretty awesome at VV. The prices can vary... I noticed one shelf of individually priced ones that were usually $2.99 but they also had a shelf of $1.29 ones which is what I went for. I'm surprized I resisted the Where's Waldo one!

Suzie, one day on the BtS I was talking about going down the rabbit hole of Pinterest and that led to thinking about the difference between following the Inspiration Rabbit versus the Procrastination Bunny :) And then suddenly, there were puppets!

And I'm so glad you found your pieces! They are beautiful. It would have been such a loss.

Shannon, the kids books are awesome!! I have bought a few too and tried them both for using as altered books and also for collage images. I think there's more of that to come!
