Jamie
Cats in the hood is back! I'm so thankful we've moved into a warmer time of year. When I met this little buddy he gave me a look like there was no chance in hell he was coming by to say hi. But he got a little closer, and a little closer until he let me touch his head and give him just a little cuddle.
Inspired by a chat with Jamie yesterday about what it would look like to make your life a comic strip, I decided to give it a try. With the parameters of 3 boxes that set the stage, show an action and a result I came up with this 3 panel comic. Of course, it had to do with Star Trek and looking up words, because... that's what I'm up to these days! I would love to keep this practice up as a way to look at little stories in my day.
Suzie
I started (finally!) to feel more like myself yesterday and am getting back to some creative projects.

Shannon, I am in LOVE with your cartoon! What a cool way to creatively document your experience with words and I love the X-Men reference. Could totally tell that was you too with the pigtails, LOL. Fantastic!!!
YAY for feeling like yourself and getting back to creative projects Suzie! I love these shapes, is that a piece of bread and a pat of butter? It looks really cool :)
I'm so glad you like the comic! I wonder what it would be like to do all words, that's interesting. I just thought I would do whatever felt like an interesting story of the day. Not sure I had anything interesting happen today though, lol!
We totally inspired each other today, Shannon! You made your comic and I dove into my Project 365!
I absolutely love the comic. You did such a great job capturing energy, identity and the story!
Oh, Suzie, I'm so glad that you're feeling better and more like yourself. This has been a long haul! And yay to creative projects. This look so awesomely cute!!
Oh, and another late add from me.
Wow, that is an awesome Cat in the Hood pic Jamie! Gotta love orange cats, I'm so glad he came over to say Hi :)
Thank you both for all of your support and encouragement over my comic, it's been so wild to do.
