Jamie

I had hoped to get my afghan squares completed by Halloween. Though I didn't make that deadline, I'm still making great progress. I completed this one yesterday. It took a lot of concentration and I did so well until one row where I had several bobbles. I guess I've learned that I can't knit something complicated while watching The Voice! I'm just too deeply invested.

Shannon

Although Halloween was Friday, it was fun to see the Halloween spirit continue online (and offline) all weekend long.

Suzie

The big event this weekend for me was getting to Michaels all by myself! It was so liberating. I had a list so my brain wouldn't blank once I walked in the door and I stayed on budget. Reg and I also worked really hard on getting my crafts room more organized, putting up my artwork and even got me a wifi extender which will hopefully mean next time we Skype it will be from my crafts room!

What an awesome crafty inspiration and infusion, Suzie! That's wonderful that you could go on your own. A real artist's date! In your haul video I could really tell that your crafts room is coming together with your personality and your things! Wonderful. I'll look forward to seeing you there for stART! <>

Jamie, I can't believe how far you have come in such short a time. It's amazing and wow, that looks gorgeous! It's funny how some shows are crafting-OK and others? Nope. I have been watching Hannibal so I can listen without looking.

Yes, it was an artist date Jamie! And I can't wait to show more of my crafts room. We got some art up and shifted things a bit. So happy!!!

You are doing so great on the afghan project Jamie and I can barely see what you are talking about in this one. I find it's so true that more complicated projects are better done while watching stuff that's I don't watch as intensely, but you did get through this one - yay!! Almost there :)

Look at those gorgeous colours of yarn Suzie! And it's so big! I can't wait to see what you make! That's so cool that you got out to Michael's on your own! First of many trips I'm sure :)

Another late add from me.

I love that Tumblr pic, Shannon!

I'm so proud of the afghan project. What a learning adventure! I am determined to get the final one done this week. Then we have to find some no-rust pins so that we can do the blocking, eh, Shannon?

LOL, Suzie, I know what you mean. I think I make it through scary stuff because of crocheting and knitting, hehe.

Yay for continued Halloween goodness!

I wondered if the pins would rust. So far I haven't had the problem but can see it happening.

The big pink yarn is for a new cowl. :)

Yes, nothing like scary TV to make for a good time to knit or crochet.

Yes we do need no-rust pins! I checked mine and they didn't indicate that so I bet they will be rusty. We can test it on something not important, maybe.

WOOHOO Pink Cowl! Can't wait to see it Suzie!
