I love this picture of my new cat friend. Though he's just an occasional visitor, she's always full of chat and love. Today we actually figured out how she could safely get off our fence and onto our deck (not pictured, lol) and we had a great cuddle full of purrs. It was very healing for me (as you can imagine) and has me thinking about whether we romanticize "wild". I'll likely be writing about that soon.

Yesterday I found out that our oil change has turned into a bill for $1500 worth of repairs. I went into red alert mode. I bought enough groceries for us to get by, paid off all our bills, checked our finances and got into creative problem solving mode. After swearing a lot. I felt quite crushed and now have developed an ear infection. Yesterday was not a good day.

Oh, Suzie, that's so awful. You are amazing at getting in there and making things work, a total star at taking care of things. I'm just sorry that you've had to channel your energy there. I hope things get better soon.
What a sweet cat Jamie! I love how you helped her discover how to safely get onto your deck and that she is full of love and cuddles. Yes, very healing indeed. Look forward to your take on the term wild.
Thanks for your support. I was quite crushed yesterday and getting an ear infection on top of having brutal insomnia lately... It's been hard and other stuff going on too. We'll get 'er done though. Somehow.
What an adventureous day! I totally thought that cat was one of Tanya's! But then.. it was outside. I'm glad it provided some healing, and some purrs :)
