Jamie

I spent the day out at the One of a Kind Show and Sale yesterday, which I haven't been to for years! I had such a wonderful time, taking in all the creativity, all the beauty and chatting with some wonderful people. Suzie, you were my role model of sharing about blogging and having a conversation. I was in love with the colour story of this booth. I would have liked to come home with as much as I could carry but instead I came home with one beautiful bowl and dreams of more.

Shannon

I've been on quite the Shakespeare kick recently, and after finishing reading Two Gentlemen of Verona I watched a Shakepeare-in-the-Park type production that's on YouTube to help get a sense of the play. It was pretty fun to watch, especially to "see" where the comedy is. Now, on to the next play!

  1. Wow, that is totally your colour story in that booth Jamie! I'm so glad you got out to the One of a Kind show, and talked with people too. That's so brave! I think it's awesome you came home with a bowl and promise of more, that sounds like a great way to describe the experience.

    Late add from me.

  3. Wow, One of a Kind show! I LOVED that show! I'm so glad you went Jamie. And so glad I could inspire you! So did you connect with these artists? I love that you got a bowl and their colour story is so you.

Shannon, that is so cool you learned where the humour is from watching a version of the play. Shakespeare's work is meant to be performed so it's so helpful to see it in action.

  4. haha! It does look like a soccer game :)

Seeing Shakespeare in action is definitely important, it feels like a whole other entity. I just hope I can find versions of all the plays. Fingers crossed!
