Whoa. I was just going to post this and share that it seems like there's this amazing bird magic around right now. I've seen a family of cardinals, a blue jay and this beauty within days of each other. And the whoa as I was uploading the picture and thinking about bird magic, I heard these lyrics in a song I was playing in the background: "Listen to the birds as they fly and we rise."!!!

Oh, what a day. Was excited to get some vlogs recorded and ready ahead of time...only to have them record without audible audio. Sigh. I wasn't up for re-recording, and it totally bummed me out.

Last night Reg and I went to our local gaming store and tried a D&D board game and had a blast. Although at first I was so overwhelmed and didn't understand one freakin' thing that was going on but I decided to relax and just go with it and ask lots of questions. I came up from behind and shot past everyone but then they all shot past by me and I was last. Which was just fine by me. A great night out after the chronic rain finally stopped. For a while.
Oh Shannon, that's heartbreaking! Ugh! Do you know what caused it? Tech stuff like that with limited energy is the worst. I'm so sorry. Hugs.

Whoa, there are birds all around you Jamie! Maybe you should be Snow White for Halloween. Or maybe it means taking flight! That bird is such a cutie pie. I hope you find out what kind it is!

And omg, tech woes so sucky. It was a hard one to let go on but I finally did.

ReplyDeleteI think the zombie arm was hysterical. They had nothing else there for Halloween so I thought it was quite surreal.
Imagine a board game Shannon that is set in the landscape of the D&D world, like the books and the game.
Bird update. It looks like this is a female cardinal. I didn't think so because it is missing the sort of peak on her head but I've been told that can lie flat or stand up. Mystery solved!
