It was absolutely fabulous having a Feng Shui consultation with my stylist Van yesterday. There was information that was applicable to everyone, like the SE portion of your space is your wealth centre, and then also information specifically for Justin & I based on when we were born. I was not surprised to find that my best direction for success is West. The problem in my studio is that means I would face my desk to my closets! I'm still trying to come up with a creative way to address that. I'm excited to implement some of Van's suggestions and see what happens!

Jamie

Trekked out for Art Picnic and then to pick up a package at the post office and was completely, utterly covered in snow by the time I got home. At least it was incredibly pretty to watch the snow gently fall.

Shannon

Yesterday I launched my new YouTube channel: Planet Shannon TV. It felt quite exciting to feel like I could talk about absolutely anything. That boundary-less-ness really is working for me.

Suzie

We did get out yesterday but it was so cold I did not want to take out my camera. I did some crocheting and watched Julia Child make her Bernaise sauce. It reminded me of this awesome remix video PBS did honouring Julia Child so I will share it here.

Jamie

I am working so much that I think every day could be this picture. Luckily, I like the view :)

Shannon

I was so happily surprized when I went out to Starbucks yesterday and got a breakfast sandwich and low and behold they were on sale! Don't you love it when stuff like that happens? I didn't even know til after I ordered and paid. Lovely.

Suzie

Probably can't tell from this photo but I finally did my mole class yesterday! And... we both liked it. Shocking! It was a lot of work and frustration since my spice grinder seems to have disappeared but I am glad I kept my cool, sacrificed my coffee grinder and just kept going.

Happy Anniversary to Us! I can't believe we've just celebrated 11 years since our wedding. We had a beautiful day together, though wow, was it cold! A highlight was seeing The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood by Nightwood Theatre at Buddies in Bad Times. We sat waiting for the lights to go down, recounting all the theatre experiences we'd shared - both good and bad. I love that we've created so many memories together.

Suzie

We did not do that much this weekend but we did get out to see Warm Bodies. It has been a very long time since I have seen a movie that screams "Suzie Movie!" like this one did. I am so glad we went.

Rewind: February 3, 2013

Jamie

Best bridesmaids ever!! You all look so beautiful. Thank you for being there with me and for me. In this moment I'm particularly thinking about when my train swiped through some dust. ACK! You made everything just perfect. I'm still full of gratitude.

Suzie

Just wanted to say that I hope Jamie & Justin had a fantastic anniversary yesterday! And it got me looking into my photos for when I made your scrapbook and realized it was a perfect opportunity to share them for Rewind too!

Jamie

The Studio Refresh has jumbled up our whole house. I remember when I worked on The Cubby the same thing happened. It's like dominoes; you move one thing, everything shifts. With all the work and all the wobble, Justin and I decided to go out for dinner last night. We headed out to The Duke despite the cold and warnings of snow squalls for a relaxed night of chatting and figuring out what we're going to do for our anniversary this weekend! The minute we sat down, this coaster caught my eye. I'm going to take the message to heart.

Suzie

Well Hexed came to a halt when the lights went out. Thankfully my breadmaker was in rest/proof mode when it happened so we still had dinner which was surprisingly awesome. Buffalo Chicken "Garbage" Bread. I've seen it all over Pinterest and can tell people are curious and so I made a healthy dough to make it a little less sinful. I will be writing about it on my blog today. Overall though, I spent the day napping on the couch then talking to Mom.
