After a clear dose of apartment hunting in the summer in Vancouver we have decided to stick with the new lease for six months and then move. I think this may have been one of the longest days of my life.
I know, right? The furnace room was in the centre so they drywalled all around it creating a maze. One of the rooms had a supporting beam almost in the centre of it so they had their bureau in a hallway. And a huge stream of people came and I bet fought over it. I think moving in February will have a lot less competition, I just hope there are apartments available!
Holy moly! Is that a hallway? Wow, Suzie. I hope the just right place finds you when it's the right time.
ReplyDeleteYes! And you had to duck to get into the hallway to go from one bedroom to another. Terrible feng shui.
